founded, many things have changed for people affected by MS. But there are still many more ways that care and support
could be better.
We've shown that real improvements are possible.
In the course of our 50-year history we've had some amazing achievements, with
individuals, branches and nations working together towards a common aim. For
example, when it looked as if beta interferon wouldn't be available in the

This statement will guide the work of the
Society over the next five years, and we want to be bolder about what we do. We
spend millions every year to help people affected by MS, and we want to make
sure we concentrate our efforts on the areas that matter most. As we develop
our activities and services, we will focus on these areas so that we can make
more significant changes, which have a greater impact on people's lives.
